I know a whole lot of people who encounter stress and problems in their everyday lives. May it be work related, about your relationship with your partner or family, issues with friends, financial worries, or probably you just woke up on the wrong side of bed. But its safe to say, everyone has some (or alot) of stress or problems in them.
Its true that there are many ways in handling your problems, stress or issues. But here, I just wanted to share a method that has been working for me and a couple of people I know. It is meditation.
Now, I know what some of you might be thinking, "I don't have that much time to just sit at one place and meditate" or "whats the use of it? I'll still feel the same afterwards". Well, I can assure you, it does work and it doesn't take that much of your time. Just a 5-minute a day meditation session can do wonders for you.
Here is a really easy way of meditating:

Find a nice, quiet and comfortable place where you can't get distracted. (Maybe in your room)

Sit with your back straight and place your hands in a comfortable position. (You can try holding your hand together and placing them on your stomach or placing them on your knees)
- Next, just close your eyes and begin to slowly take deep breaths, inhaling and exhaling. Relax yourself.
- Focus on your breathing. Try to clear your mind, but if you can't just concentrate on your breathing. Listen to every single breathe you take.
That's it! Simple isn't it? And trust me, if you can do this everyday, you will be amazed with the results. If you are worried that you might lose track of time, just set a timer. You can also add in some music (soft meditation music) or maybe some aromatherapy. Don't worry whether you are doing it right or wrong, just relax and redirect your focus to your breathing when other thoughts enter your mind. Finally, once you are use to it, you might want to increase your meditation time. Remember, the more you practice, the more stronger the effects will be.
You can find out a whole load of meditation benefits by reading. But, it is always better to "Know and Feel" rather then "Read and Listen". So, go ahead, meditate and try it for yourself. You can be the judge to whether it works or not. Enjoy. =)
